It's great working at Challengers!

To do what we do we employ hundreds of paid and volunteer staff to make sure that Challengers is in action all year round! With around 600 play/youth workers, we are a huge team all managed by the Play and Leisure Team. They work as part of a larger team including Fundraising, Finance and Administration to ensure our doors are kept open and children and young people are able to access vital play and leisure. We have central teams based in our lovely centres in Guildford and Farnham.

We employ a huge range of staff, with a variety of skills and experience – so whatever you do, please do give us a call if you would like to get involved. We are seriously dedicated to having fun and lots of it, so we need lots of people on board who know how to play and want to contribute to the lives of local disabled children and young people. Play and Youth Schemes

We are always looking for voluntary and paid Play and Youth Workers at Challengers schemes across all our schemes in Surrey and Hampshire, throughout the week, during weekends and through the school holidays. Fundraising

Challengers employ a full time Communications and Fundraising Team who are based at our Guildford playcentre. They organise events, work with grant-making trusts, corporate partners, individuals and community organisations. To chat with the Communications and Fundraising Team call 01483 230 060. Challengers is an independent childrens charity. We are dependent on voluntary donations and partnerships with other organisations to deliver projects for disabled children and young people.
