We know we are so lucky to have such a fantastic set of trustees who keep us on the straight and narrow as well as helping us enjoy all that we do. We could not achieve what we do without their help and support.

The Trustee Board is responsible for the overall governance of the charity and the trustees are all voluntary. The Board delegates key areas of work to 3 sub committees: Finance & Risk, Communications & Fundraising as well as Operations & Quality.

The Trustees are a great bunch of people with a wide range of backgrounds and experience. Some have children who come to Challengers while others support us on everything from accountancy to communications. We believe that it is important to ensure we have a broad range of skills and so we carry out a regular check to make sure we do not have gaps!

We also believe that it is very important to have people as trustees whose children use our services. We are really pleased to have 3 parents who help us make sure that we stay focussed on what really matters for the children, young people and families we work with.
