Black Water Valley Runners Woodland Woggle

Sunday 19th May

Black Water Valley Runners have organised a 5k & 10k run and a 5k walk through the beautiful Hampton Estate and Puttenham Common in aid of Challengers, The Scouts and Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. Both routes take in stunning views, go through a magical bluebell wood, a large lovely smelling pine forest then back to the finish where bacon sandwiches, tea, coffee and cakes are available to purchase! London 2 Brighton Challenge

Saturday 25th May to Sunday 26th May

Have you got what it takes to take on the London 2 Brighton Challenge? Walk or run the 100k route as an individual or as part of a team - this is an event you will never forget! It's just £85 to register with a minimum fundraising target of £400. This is sure to be an adventure of a lifetime. The closing date for registration for this event has now closed. National Gardens Scheme – Open Garden

Sunday 2nd June

Come and join one of our long standing supporters as they open their beautiful gardens as part of the National Gardens Scheme on a lovely summer’s day this June. The National Gardens Scheme has raised millions of pounds for a variety of charities over the years including Marie Curie Cancer Care, Help the Hospices and Macmillan Cancer Support. On this day all of the profits from the tea and cake stand (there will be a lot of cake!) will be going directly to Challengers. The venue is Rose Cottage near Wisley Gardens and admission is £3.50; children are free come and visit from 11am-5pm. Battle of the Businesses

Thursday 6th June

Our legendary quiz evening is back for its 4th year and is to be held at the Mandolay Hotel in Guildford. Do you have the knowledge and skill to win the title of Surrey’s brightest business? Why not come along and put your team to the test! Enjoy a two course meal, fun and challenging quiz questions – including rounds such as Beat The Intro and World Facts all for just £25/ticket in teams of 8-10. Charity Golf Day

Friday 5th July

Are you a keen golfer? If so, then take the opportunity to sign up to our annual Golf day at Merrist Wood Golf Club on the 5th July. Start the day with a bacon roll, play 18 holes of golf with refreshments en route, mini challenges along the way and then finish off the day with a two course meal and raffle! Surrey SuperCycle 2013

Sunday 14th July

Fancy racing around the “Top Gear” track as fast as you can on a bike?! Sign up to the second annual SuperCycle, which takes place on the 14th of July at Dunsfold Park – home of the BBC hit show's test track. SuperCycle is a cycling event open to people of all ages and abilities; you can bring your own bike or borrow one on the day and cycle anything from 100m – 100k! Albury Music Festival

This year Challengers is the lead charity for what is probably Surrey's best keep secret – Albury Music Festival! This is a live music event and an important showcase for the many talented musicians from the local area, with a mixture of covers and originals bands - but many of whom also play both nationally and internationally. The quality of performers will be as high as ever and a great day out is in store for all the family. Kellystore Fun-raisers Guildford Riverside Run

Our annual Kellystore Fun-raisers Fun Run is back for its 4th year. Sign up now to take part in this fantastic event suitable for everyone, from your serious runner looking to get a PB to an individual entering their first 5k race.
