Challengers introduces you to BEST Business Group and Kelly's Storage

 2011 saw the beginning of an exciting new project for Disability Challengers with the launch of our new Challengers Champions Business Club. The club is a dynamic group of locally-based firms - committed to growing their business, whilst supporting a local children’s charity.   All our members are local business men and women who play an active part in the local business community, and are proactive in their approach to business development.  

As part of our Challengers Champions Business Club, every month we will introduce you to two fantastic businesses actively supporting Disability Challengers.  This month is the turn of BEST Business Group and Kelly's Storage.

BEST Business Group 

The BEST business group was set up in 2001 as an organisation to develop business for a select group of local professional service companies.

Based in Guildford, BEST today offers a unique collection of businesses who individually or together can help local companies to build and run their businesses better.

Meeting every week, the Group has the synergy and understanding between the member firms that enables them to offer the breadth of services normally only available from the largest organisations together with the personal service levels of a local independent supplier.

The services offered by members include accountancy, advertising, architecture, banking, construction, IT support, marketing and PR, property and investment.

Kelly's Storage

Long term supporter of Challengers, Kelly's Storage is a family run business that was established in Guildford in 1935. It now has warehouses in Guildford, St Albans, Erith, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol. Kelly's Storage was the first company in the UK to introduce the system of delivering self storage units to our customers for them to load at home. Over 800 companies now entrust Kelly's to store vital archive records and data, which is another important part of our business.

Kelly's Storage has recently started 'Kellystore Funraisers' where we organise sporting events to raise money for charities local to all our warehouses. In 2010 we raised £30,000 for Disability Challengers in Guildford. We are organising two events this year and aim for six in 2012.
